Dr. Kathy Beattie specializes in holsitic veternary medicine using a number of different modalities to enchance the lives of Denver metro area pets in the comfort of their own home. Through the use of acupuncture, cold laser therapy, Chinese herbs and nutritional counseling. Dr. Beattie strives to improve the lives of companion animals and understands and honors the human-animal connection.

About Dr. Beattie

Dr. Kathy Beattie received her D.V.M.degree from Colorado State University in 1985. She practiced traditional small animal medicine and surgery for over 20 years. Her passion and love for animals led her to search for more effective and less invasive treatments for her patients, especially those suffering from the chronic pain of arthritis. Pursuing this interest, she obtained certification from the Veterinary Acupuncture program at Colorado State University and has taken many Chinese herbal courses through the Chi Institute. She began her own private holistic veterinary pratice in 2004 and has been gratified with the success she has seen by combining her experience in western medicine with the tools of eastern medicine.
